Hayman Infra Red Ray Radiator: Wellmade NZ electric heaterManufactured by L T Hayman Ltd, this is a heavy cast iron infra-red electric heater with painted round base, in which the electric control box, chrome plated half spherical reflector and cylindrical element is attached. The fabric coated electrical lead is attached to the back of the control box.

A hayman product catalogue produced in the 70's
the large site of 'DISHMASTER MANUFACTURING Ltd'Sept 1983, with the closure of 'Atlas Majestic (Masterton) Ltd', Ian Galbraith and two others purchased plant and factory space to form 'Dishmaster Manufacturing Ltd'. There aim was to manufacture Commercial glass-washers, dishwashers and waste disposal units.
In 1987, they purchased 'L T Hayman Ltd' and added the production of Commercial catering equipment. In 1996 the company name was changed to 'Hayman Industries Ltd' Hayman products were produced on this site until late 2007. It was at this point the company was sold to the current owner and relocated to Whanganui. |
